RATES:  Wild Birds (Full day hunt)-$700/Day, (Half day hunt)-$650; Released Birds (Full day hunt)-$450/Day, (Half day hunt)-$300.  Full day hunts include 12 birds/person limit, half day hunts include 12 birds/person limit.  Additional release birds available at $7/bird.

DATES:  Wild Birds - Mid-November to February 28.  Released Birds - October 1 to March 31.

ACCOMMODATIONS:  Five-Star accommodations...7000 square-foot lodge with great room/fireplace, big screen television with satellite, pool table and bedrooms with full private baths.  Handicapped accessible.

LICENSE COSTS:    Non-resident license-$59 (Annual), $25 (7 day), $5.50 (1 day).  Licenses are not required for release bird hunting, however they are required for wild bird hunting.  Licenses can be purchased at lodge upon arrival.

Nestled in an enclave of rolling, brushy hills along the Mississippi River in western Illinois, this Orvis-endorsed facility is a veritable wingshooter's paradise!  Approximately 1600 acres of prime natural upland habitat, managed exclusively for the maximum production of bobwhite quail and pheasants.  The terrain is a mixture of hardwood forests on gently sloping hillsides, deep hollows, long strips of densely planted corn, beans and sorghum, and tangles of honeysuckle, blackberry and wild rose vines.  It is magnificent cover, the likes of which are becoming ever more scarce.  Populations of pheasants and quail are abundant, with regular, high-quality releases by the outfitter to supplement the  bird numbers.  You will hunt behind some of the best English Pointers and German Shorthaired Pointers in the country!  A first-class experience in the finest tradition of hunting.
