Hunt the magnificent muskox of the Arctic with this veteran outfitter! The Victoria Island population has been on the increase for years and has one of the largest concentrations in the Arctic. Herds are usually located anywhere from 20 to 50 miles from Holman. In addition to the fantastic hunting, the friendly Inuit of Holman (population 400) are proud to share their village and traditional culture. This hunt, which is operated in partnership with Holman Hunters and Trappers Committee, is virtually 100% successful year after year! Holman is alive with muskox and the hunting is simply awesome. Arctic Island Muskox...what an awesome addition to your trophy room! RATES: Spring Muskox (1 muskox, 4 days hunting, 1 on 1)-$3860 US; (2 muskox, 4 days hunting, 1 on 1)-$4895 US. Add 3.5% GST to all prices. DATES: Spring Hunt - March/April. ACCOMMODATIONS: Accommodations consist of heated wooden cabins. All meals during the hunt are included. LICENSE COSTS: Non-resident muskox license-$50 CAN; Government trophy fee-$150 CAN. TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS: Point of outfitting is Holman, NWT. BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: A 30% deposit is required to reserve hunt dates. Balance is due 60 days prior to the hunt. Cancellation policy-deposits are fully refundable, less a 10% charge on all cancelled hunts, up to 90 days prior to the hunt with written notification and request. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 90 days of the hunt. If notice of cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to the hunt, the entire hunt cost is non-refundable. |

World record muskox await you in North America's last frontier, "The Arctic!" The Perry River area has become world famous for producing trophy bulls, many of which score over 120 B&C points...including contenders for the new world record! Muskox in the McNaughton River area are part of this Perry River population and have been virtually untouched by trophy hunters. This outfitter/agent has been fortunate to secure a limited number of tags for this prime area around the McNaughton River...100 miles east of the Perry River...on the NWT mainland. Year after year, 100% success is anticipated! This is a tough hunt and geared for the more adventurous hunter. Transportation during this hunt is usually by snow machines, with dog teams optional, and is operated in partnership with the Gjoa Haven Hunters and Trappers Association. Absolutely a wild Arctic adventure!! RATES: Trophy Muskox (8 days hunting, 1 on 1)-$5150 US. Add 3.5% GST. Central Barren Ground Caribou also inhabit this area and you can opt to purchase a caribou tag only during the fall hunt. There is a $1000 US trophy fee upon harvest of a caribou.
