CAR 04-330          NWT  (Central Canada Barren Ground Caribou)

Central Canadian barren ground caribou in the heart of the Northwest Territories!  Camps are located in the Little Marten Lake area (160 miles north of Yellowknife), Whitewolf Lake area (60 miles northwest of Little Marten Lake) and the Pellat Lake area.  These camps lie just above the tree line and right in the center of the late summer range of the Bathurst caribou herd, which now numbers 350,000 to 400,000 animals!  Little Marten Lake and Whitewolf Lake hunters have posted tremendous success in recent years...with many outstanding trophies harvested that qualified for the B&C, P&Y and SCI record books!!  2003 was another very successful season!  If it's a true Arctic adventure you're after...this is the hunt for you.

RATES:  Little Marten Lake (One caribou, 5 days hunting, 2 on 1)-$4500 US, (Two caribou, 5 days hunting, 2 on 1)-$5000 US; Whitewolf Lake/Pellat Lake (One caribou, 6 days hunting, 2 on 1)-$4695 US, (Two caribou, 6 days hunting, 2 on 1)-$5195 US.  Add 3.5% GST to prices.

DATES:  Mid August  through Late September.

ACCOMMODATIONS:  All camps consist of comfortable heated wall tents on wooden frames.  All meals during the hunt are included.

LICENSE COSTS:  Caribou licenses are not included in cost of the hunt.  Government trophy fee-$150 CAN per caribou is an additional fee not included.

TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS:  Point of outfitting is Yellowknife, NWT.  Transfer from hotel to float plane and round trip air charter from Yellowknife to/from camp is included in the trip cost.  Lodging and meals in Yellowknife before and after the hunt is not included.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:  A 30% deposit is required to reserve hunt dates.  Balance is due 60 days prior to the hunt.  Cancellation policy-deposits are fully refundable, less a 10% charge on all cancelled hunts, up to 90 days prior to the hunt with written notification and request.  Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 90 days of the hunt.  If notice of cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to the hunt, the entire hunt cost is non-refundable.

 

CAR 04-350          Quebec  (Quebec/Labrador Caribou)

ACCOMMODATIONS:  Fully equipped, warm and comfortable guest camps equipped with beds, mattresses, running water with hot showers and electrical power.  All meals during the hunt are included.  Please note that the 6 on 1 semi-guided hunt includes varied food, but no full-time cook.

LICENSE COSTS:  Non-resident caribou tags (2 caribou tags)-$220 US.

TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS:  Point of outfitting is Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  All air transportation to/from Montreal to Kuujjuaq to hunting camps is included in the price of the hunt.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:  30% deposit is required to reserve dates.  Additional 30% deposit is due by April 1st with the balance due by June 1st..  Cancellation policy-If you cancel your hunt and you do not provide a replacement, the following penalties will apply.  Penalties are based on the total package price.  10% penalty under all circumstances; 30% penalty after January 1st; 100% penalty after June 1st.  Any credit of deposits to another year is at outfitter's discretion.

 

CAR 04-360          Quebec  (Quebec/Labrador Caribou)

TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS:  Point of outfitting is Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  All air transportation to/from Montreal to Schefferville to hunting camps is included in the price of the hunt.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:  33% deposit is required to reserve dates.  Additional 33% deposit is due by March 1st with the balance due 60 days prior to the hunt.  Repeat hunters can take advantage of a 10% discount!  Cancellation policy-deposits are non-refundable, however a substitute hunter will be accepted at no additional cost.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
