Hunt trophy black bear in the Boreal forests of northern Alberta. Our outfitter has exclusive access to some of the premier black bear habitat in northern Alberta. These are baited hunts and are offered in the Spring and Fall seasons. Color phase generally runs 60% black and 40% color. Mature bears will usually measure between 5 1/2'-7' with skulls averaging 17"-18". Weight on these bruins average in the 300 pound range and have tipped the scales as much as 500 pounds!. 2003 was another very successful season with 100% hunter success!! Extremely limited hunting (only 10 permits per year) and a two-bear limit make this a very popular hunt. Booked for the 2004 season...so don't delay to get in on the 2005 hunting season! RATES: Fall or Spring Black Bear (6 days)-$2800 US. Add 3.5% GST to prices. DATES: Spring - May; Fall - September-Early October. Hunt the Southwest's premier trophy black bear hotspot...the world renowned White Mountain Apache Reservation!! Located in east-central Arizona, this 1.6 million acre wildlife haven is home to a tremendous population of black bears. Legal baiting, combined with the use of well-trained hounds, makes this an exceptional hunt for the serious trophy hunter. Season after season, hunters experience virtually 100% success! The 2003 Spring and Fall hunts didn't let us down...another 100% successful harvest! Bears measured from 6' (minimum length outfitter allows harvested) up to 8"!! 30% of the mature bears harvested in '03 were 7'+!!! Color phase is remarkable, generally running 60-70%!! The average boar weighs 250-350 pounds with the biggest bruins weighing over 400 pounds in the fall. This outfitter is in his 21st year running bear hunts on the White Mountain Reservation and has produced numerous record book animals! Besides the world-class trophy black bears, another main attraction to this Southwest style hunt...NO BUGS!!! RATES: Trophy Black Bear (5 days)-$3450; $2500 trophy fee for second bear. DATES: Year-round season. In general, spring hunts run April 15-June 30; special hunts the last two weeks of August and the first and last weeks of September. Fall hunts run October 1-November 15. Hunt trophy grizzlies that roam the remote forests of north-central BC! Access into this remote hunting concession is typically done by boat, foot, horseback or 4x4, all depending on the terrain that is being hunted and whatever your condition will allow. These hunts are strictly spot and stalk...baiting and hounds are not allowed in BC. Color phase of these grizzlies range from silver tip to very blonde. With the new grizzly permit restrictions implemented in recent years, this outfitter only receives 3 permits per year. This ensures high success on quality bears measuring over 7'! 2003 was another successful year for grizzlies...2 out of 3 hunters harvesting their bear! The two grizzlies harvested measured 7' 8" and an 8' 5" bruin with a 24" skull!!! This is one of the best areas in North America for interior grizzlies!! RATES: $7500 US (1 on 1, 10 days) plus $6000 US Trophy Fee upon harvest. Moose can be combined in the Fall hunt for a $1000 US Trophy Fee upon harvest of moose. Add 3.5% GST to all prices. Hunt trophy black bear that inhabit the remote forests of north-central BC. Access into this remote hunting concession is typically done by boat, foot, horseback or 4x4, all depending on the terrain that is being hunted and whatever your condition will allow. Black bear do very well in this area due to the excellent food supply and the heavy timber that provides an ideal sanctuary for them to grow to trophy size. Most mature bears will measure between 6' - 7' and weigh in the 250-300 pound range during the Spring hunt. 2003 was a very successful season with 100% hunter success on bears ranging from 6' to 7' 4"!! RATES: Spring Black Bear (2 on 1, 7 days)-$2600 US, (1 on 1, 7 days)-$3500 US. You may harvest a second bear for an additional $1000 US Trophy Fee (40% non-refundable deposit prior to hunt required). This is considered by many to be the "toughest hunt" on the North American continent and likely in the world! Mentally, physically and environmentally...you will be challenged to your limits living on the "Top of the World." Our outfitter/agent has an exclusive arrangement with the local Hunter and Trapper Committees from Holman, Pelly Bay/Hall Beach, McClure Strait and Wynniatt Bay Inuit communities, who actually conduct these hunts. The hunting is done from outpost camps located in prime areas, which may be up to 100 miles from the nearest Inuit village. 2003 was another successful season with great trophies taken again from the Wynniat Bay region! Unbelievable...truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience is the only way to describe this hunt!! RATES: Holman, McClure Strait, Wynniatt Bay (Importable to US)-$22,500 US; Pelly Bay/Hall Beach, Nunavut (Non-Importable to US)-$19,500 US. Add 3.5% GST to prices. These are 16 day trips with 14 full days of hunting. DATES: February - May. ACCOMMODATIONS: Outpost tent camp accommodations. All meals while in camp are included. All food and lodging while in Holman is the hunter's responsibility. LICENSE COSTS: All hunting licenses and tags are purchased when you arrive at the community of the hunt. Government trophy fee-$750 CAN. TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS: Point of outfitting is Holman, NWT. Additional air charters to and from the destination village are required and are the hunter's responsibility. These air charter costs vary depending on the region of the hunt. Cancellation policy-deposits are fully refundable, less a 10% charge on all cancelled hunts, up to 90 days prior to the hunt with written notification and request. Black bear hunting in the remote bush of northwestern Saskatchewan. 288 square miles of beautiful mixed forest, with continuous stands of aspen, birch, pine and spruce. This is thick brush country, so hunting is done from tree stands and ground blinds over bait. Color phase in this region usually runs 20-30% and mature bruins average 5 1/2'-6' and will weigh 250-300 pounds. 2003 season hunters were, once again, 100% successful! Our outfitter has also acquired some additional bear area for the 2004 season that has never been commercially hunted. We anticipate harvesting some huge bears out of this new hunting ground in the near future. Some phenomenal combination bear and fishing packages are also available with this outfitter.
